How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I am home all day, I collect all day - I've said many times that I collect what they've laid that morning and then will pick up more throughout the day. It's why I'm always posting what I had yesterday (I post here in the mornings)

They really don't lay in the late afternoon very often but occasionally I will get 1 egg sitting there at roost time. When they roost at night, I lock them up every night and their nests are always clear.

edit; in fact I have 2 cameras in the hen house so I can see if I need to go out there and pick up more eggs.

They lay brown, I have 2 light brahmas and the one I know is laying has very round speckled brown eggs.

11 eggs yesterday, haven't done the coop yet this morning, too freakin cold. I wait a couple hours past sunrise.

No drama to report lol

We have to build our run (we want vacations!) but it's freezing during the day omg, we're too old in our bones for that. But we are going to be doing that soon.

I didn’t think it got overly cold in your neck of the woods. Guess this cold front moving in on the weekend will be a shock!

2 today.... my body hurts.. extended freeze prepping. put my non bred female goats into the main barn where the boys are too. needed to fix up a kennel for them. I forgot to read the fine print that Nigerian Dwafs go into heat every 28 days ... oh mee oh my O... what insane crap is that lol .. Im a boer goat gal...( get ND's you'll love them they said) who would of thought every 28 days..... Kennels ups, Barn packed with hay and straw for everyone, Bird feeds, Birds/fowl all locked in for the next couple of days.. All I have to do is top off water. Geese are water hogs lol... every bucket of water needs to be goosed..... Stay safe everyone...
