They filled a carton today!! My first whole dozen day with a bonus FIRST BLUE egg among the 12!

3 eggs from 3 hens (1st egg from one of my girls)! Yay! Waiting for 2 more pullets to start laying.

6 Eggs out of 14. They just started laying 2 weeks ago, so I am really proud and excited to already get that many. And best of all .... 3 blue/green ones and 3 brown ones!!!!

5/7 today and yesterday. We got our first double yolk egg Sunday from one of our White Leghorns. Two of the seven (which didn't lay) have recently been re-homed to us. They haven't liked been separated from everyone so far but one of them is a Welsummer and she has laid an egg since being with us. The Wheaten Ameracauna has not.

Forgot to post last night but we got 25 yesterday from our 30 GC's. The Gals have it going!!! There's a bunch of happy people at work now that I can fill their egg orders faster.

We got one, beautiful, perfect pullet (1st) egg. Very, very eggciting day around our house.
