How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I have 5 pullets of supposed laying age, but only 1 is laying. Nobody else is really even getting a comb (they are 22-26 weeks). Their faces are pink but not red. I don't anticipate any eggs from anyone other than the leghorn for quite some time yet. I think the weather this year has adversely affected first-year layers... everyone who has new birds that were hatched this spring seems to be waiting extra long for those first eggs this year.

7 eggs from 10 pullets( 22 weeks old).

They all take turns checking out the nests, I have golf balls to point them in the right direction, food at all times, veggies 2x a day.... COME ON ALL READY!

I lost two hens this summer due to heat and smoke from a brush fire so I have six layers left but I'm only getting two to four eggs a day. I'm hoping the other two will go back to laying soon. In my other coop I have four pullets that will be at 20 weeks this coming Saturday so they should start laying soon. Their combs and wattles are getting redder. I've felt bad about it all summer that my girls haven't been laying like they should but I know they're getting the right food so all I can do is wait.

My 9 gals gave me 7 again today, after 7 yesterday. They have set a new weekly record for me the last 4 weeks. My new record as I keep it Sunday-Saturday is 39 eggs. My Wife is selling them as fast as the girls can lay them, I need to add to my flock. Anybody around Ypsilanti have any extra hens you would like to rehouse? I have room for probably 10.
