How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

8/14 most are molting now. Also new pullets just starting to lay. I wormed them so I had to throw away two blue eggs and two brown pullet L eggs today as well. Bummer. I've still got 10 days to go when I put drops on them tomorrow. Everyone but the roos that will get eaten will get the drops. Gloria Jean

I have an assortment of laying hens and I have 15 of them and got 10 eggs 2 days ago, very exciting. I have one Welsummer that started laying this week and the eggs are amazing, you need to get one! BEAUTIFUL chocolate brown eggs with lots of speckles. Out of all of my hens, the ameraucanas are the last to start laying, haven't got a single egg from them yet, waiting anxiously! I got two double yolkers yesterday and one of the eggs was soo large that it did not fit in the egg carton.

Finally today I can join this thread, at last one of my hens laid her first egg, I have 18 the're 19 weeks old so i only got today
