How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

3 eggs from 8 hens but somebody ate one of them!

This has happened every day for the last 4 days! so I went out and bought wooden eggs and put one in each nest box like someone on BYC said to do. we'll see ......

Today was the 2nd time we got 3 eggs from our 3 girls

Can't wait until spring to see if any will lay more than one a day!

My hens are starting to do better. 3 eggs 2 days in a row. They did not come from the same hens today as yesterday so several are making some effort. Maybe the slacker soup talk helped.

since the moody rooster was booted we now have 9 eggs from 17 hens.....I put a heat light in the coop now it comes on at 4am to 8am....I gave the girls a couple months of rest....now were back to work....and I got rid of the abusive boyfriend...
