My girls are on a roll!

. Yesterday all my regular layers gave me an egg and I was wondering when this would happen....

Today was our first 5 egg day! Meaning that all our hens that could lay gave us an egg! We are still one Easter Egger shy of perfection but I needed to celebrate. Especially since they've been so productive in spite of the cold weather! and its also fun to compare size and color. Above is Goldielock's second egg ever and its already as big as the others.

23 today from our 29 GC's. Been brutally cold here in central NC with daytime temps only about 32F and nighttime about 15F. Too cold, too early for us. I'd better take my mind off winter time 'cause I ain't going nowhere...
