My EE's are finally finished molting.

That's 4 eggs out of 12 hens.

And Peep (a Cubalaya) has decided she wants to hatch one. Going to be VERY hard since the nearest rooster is a few hundred yards away at the neighbors across the street and down some.

6/7 the last 3 days and only 5/7 today. I guess things are backing off a bit as the days get shorter and the nights get colder. Makes me sad!

6/6 yesterday. 2 so far today. I found a little scale at the Kitchen Collection store in the mall yestetday for 4.99. It's not digital but it works. The eggs we're getting range from 45-60 grams. Haven't gotten any jumbo double-yolkers in a while, would be curious to know how much they weighed compared to the rest.
