How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Yesterday, when I fed and then checked, I found 3 eggs, for the first time.
I had been getting one or tow, usually 2.
This was white, with a few blood streaks, and longish.
I knew it had to be from Austra, my black Australorp (I think that's what she is).
I have 3 hens, a red, a golden red, and Austra.
Red lays light brown eggs. Goldie lays slightly lighter eggs.
Now Austra layed a white egg.
So I know who laid what...
Should take a picture of 3 eggs all together.
BTW, except for two times, all eggs in one nest. Once in the second nest, and only once on the ground.

I should add, Austra is only about 4 to 6 weeks younger than Red and Goldie, but Red started last fall, don't recall exactly, but I posted pix. And Goldie maybe 2 months or so later.
I was beginning to wonder about Austra. But, our days are gradually getting longer and warmer. That helps, I guess. They think it is spring, and I keep giving them wild mustard as well as their laying mix.

I think we need a picture of Austra. Black Australorps lay brown eggs. Anywhere from creamy tan to medium dark brown.

black astrolorps lay brown eggs lol, something is amiss.
Today we got 8 out of 8 a great day!

I got 2 today, but my girls are just getting stated, they are 22 weeks now. So hopefully more soon. I have threatened them with the stew pot, I don't think they are worried too much though.

When I first wanted chickens I thought , wow 3 eggs a day from a chicken, that's all we need and three chickens are enough, then I bought five as I figured if we get three, the extra 2 will be icing on the cake.... That was the first year, we got 2/3 eggs at a time out of five girls and then 2 went broody non stop and we barely got eggs frm them, they were always in the nest box, no matter how many times I tried to break the cycle. Second year, I was grateful to have a broody, she sent on eggs and we kept 2 each time, problem is we got a rooster each and every time lol. Then my broody died, up and died, broke my heart. Got my self some RIR and they are laying machines, but then bam no eggs, maybe 2 a day and it was summer, not hot just perfect out. No eggs. Seems they lay when ever they feel like it lol. We provided the best feed the best fruits and veggies and nope no more then 2 eggs from 7 birds, winter 3 eggs, maybe 4. Well since last month 6/8 from 8 girls, there laying machines, every day . Today 8 eggs and with the new birds coming we will have 16 girls. One thing about chickens, you can have 10 but you may only get 5 lol .
