Uhm, that sure looks like a Fritatta to me.
I make fritattas and omelettes. Many times 3 eggs, and wind up stuffed, LOL.

Today was chilly, but the girls all laid an egg, so 3/3 today...

Yup, always learning something new.

I only got one egg from 4 girls today (before it started to snow). I watched my Wyandotte lay it, then immediately went in and ate an egg sandwich! Freshest egg I've ever eaten!

By Gifa's description of the cheese being in the fold, it is an omelet not a Frittata. Frittatas are not folded. But, since we can see the ingredients on the outside, it does look like they were mixed in with the egg before cooking or dropped in while the egg was not cooked much. I guess it is a Frittata omelet.

9 eggs today.

Actually... the eggs go in the pan first, and then after it's cooked up a bit, the ingredients go in on top... so, they are all on the top at first. But then, after a little more cooking... I give it a flip (it takes experience to get the right amount of air and rotation to get it to land back in the pan without destroying it, heh) to cook the egg on the top (now on the bottom), which puts the other ingredients on the bottom... Now with the boring, all egg side facing up, I sprinkle it with cheese, and when it's done cooking (doesn't take long), I slide it out of the pan about halfway, and then turn it out so that the other half folds over the first half, thereby putting all the pretty ingredients on the outside and the gooey cheese and boring plain egg on the inside.

Do Orpingtons lay decently???.??? I'm looking for the best layers but I guess it depends on the age.so lets say that a Orpington was 7-8 months old.would she be a good layer???? And could anyone tell me what a pullet i?????? I think it's a juevenile hen right??? Aaahhhh when yur new to chickens there's a lot to learn about tem!!!!!!!!! ;) :/
rhodeisland reds are awesome egg layers, buff orphingtons ar good until.... They go broody lol. Yep fast and furious each one of my buff orphingtons went broody. Lasting weeks. So now I just get fertile eggs from people around here and throw the, under my girls, getting new chicks they raise and I do not have to . There sweet birds, but can go broody a lot. The first year mine went broody so often I got eggs maybe 2 months of the first year.
Rhode island reds, wyndotts, Easter eggers, good layers. Astrolorps are awesome also. Laying almost daily !

A pullet is a young chicken, and if you plan on having a set amount of chickens and you buy chicks, buy several extra as there is always roosters lol. Or you can buy the sexed birds, but again they some times throw in a rooster. You will love chickens, best thing I ever did was getting my girls. Great eggs, great bug catchers, and fun to play with. They entertain us all summer when we are out side.

My understanding is that once refrigerated, the odds of them hatching are quite poor.
well if was the case then those people hatching eggs from the grocery stores would not be able to :) many threads here about hatching out fertile store bought eggs. ( whole foods I believe) it's worth a try, some ( 4 ) were sitting on the eggs when she took them and put them in a ag for me, the rest I took from the three dozen I bought from her as a curtesy for bringing me the fertile eggs. I did notice while cooking the eggs today and yesterday that only about 50% of the eggs were fertile, the white ones were the rest was not. The ones in the bag were 2 white and 2 brown, so I took 4 whites from the carton and put them under her with the other 4. We shall see what peeks out in 19 more days ( more like 25 days since its cold here)
