How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I think everyone is done laying. Total is 6 eggs. 2 duck eggs. 4 chicks; 2 brown and 2 white. Finally got our big duck egg today. 3.0 ounces. the samller egg is what we have been getting. 2.0 ounces.

I don't know yet. Only one is laying the others aren't far behind. Probably one today

Only 9 so far today. My girls had been doing so well...14/17. But we have another broody and she is keeping the others out of the box. At least she's not as mean as the last one.....yet. Into the broody breaker she goes.

We've been averaging 16-19 a day from 22 hens. (5 are just starting to lay) We've been selling 5-7 dozen a week. I have 17 more pullets approaching laying age. It'll be interesting to see how many we get come mid september.

Not being nosy but what are you charging for a dozen eggs? I think I have a few pullets eating eggs??? Cant prove it yet though.... hubby came home from work today and heard a ruckus coming from the coop, thinking something was after the pullets, he went to see what was going on and seen the pullets had one of my AL's cornered waiting for her to lay her egg. He said one chicken would NOT leave the coop no matter what he did. Guess I'm going to have to watch close tomorrow and see what is going on. I'm getting about 6 or 7 eggs a day so far.

I sell mine for $2 a dozen. I make enough cash to cover my feed and put a little in my pocket.

We sell ours for $2 each dozen.
