How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I am planning on selling mine for 1.75 a dozen. Maybe more if they are bigger

Got 14 eggs today ya ya. That is the most we have to date.

we got a total of 6. 2 Duck eggs and 4 Chicken eggs. 2 brown and 2 white. I now know why one of my leghorns have be crabby today. Look at the egg she jsut laid! Her usual egg size is on the left, usually 1.5 ounces. This one was 2.2 ounces!

I had a second pullet start laying. I got 2 eggs yesterday.

4/6 again today but all in the nest at 10 which is unusual for my hens. I might be looking for a 5th and a new layer-Buff Orp- because of the time and also because one of the eggs yesterday and today has a different color-slightly purple. I have been confused about that. Here is a pic but the colors might not come through correctly

I've noticed that my Easter Eggers eggs tend to be more medium size than large. Is that a trait that seems to run with tinted egg layers?
Next spring I am going to start selling eggs at the local farmers market and will charge about the same prices as you. Right now I am intentionally

underselling some locals who have taken advantage of being the only few "fresh egg" sellers in the area. (they have raised their prices from $1.50 to $3.50-$4 on average in the last two years) The demand for eggs is high but not at those prices unless it's at the local farmer's markets that are around. Currently I have more "orders" than I can fill.
