How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Only go 2/7 today, we have been getting 4-6. Maybe they will pick back up tomorrow But did get our 2/3 Ducks eggs.

9 eggs from my 12 pullets, 21 weeks old - a record day! Two or three are not laying yet, but today my second EE laid her first little blue-green egg! Gave away my first dozen eggs yesterday.

I got 8 from 9 again today although I am a little confused. My hens have a free range area where they are all together, there are 2 'sheds' that they all have access to. They all seem to lay in the same one that they sleep in. These last 2 days I have had a very small light brown egg, looking like a first egg, in the smaller shed. The only one that I thought was not yet laying is a 20 week leghorn, who does sleep in that shed but shouldn't she lay white eggs?

Elliechooks, I'd say one of your brown egg layers laid a small egg, and that your leghorn is not laying yet.

So far I got 3. 2 chicken. 1 brown 1 white and 1 Duck. expecting a few more chicken eggs.

I guess it's caused by being in the track too long because of stress. I googled it and that came up as being the most common reason.

Not necessarily. Not all chickens will lay every day. So if you get 5 out of 6 one day and 5 out of 6 another day it can be a different chicken that laid the first day but not the second and vv. So you can have one day chicken 1,2,3,4,5 laying and the next day it could be chicken 2,3,4,5,6 laying. the third day it could be 1,2,4,5,6 laying. Unless you can match each egg to each chicken you won't know for sure who laid and who didn't.
