How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Bummer! I got 3/6: 2 brown, 1 khaki. Still don't know who they mystery New layer is since she hasn't laid again. I suspect my BO even though they are typically late layers and she's only 19 weeks, but the others have hardly any combs or reddening.

Yes it is a bummer!!!! But I'd rather be safe than sorry..... we medicated for worms on Sunday. The bottle says not to use the eggs for 14 days after treatment, so I'm splitting the difference and going with 10? Good idea or wait out the whole 14 days?

5 out of 6. One of my girls isn't laying yet. Don't know about the the wait, but I know you hate having to throw out the eggs. What did you use?

I haven't had to deworm yet, but my gut says if it states 14 days, I'd follow it. Lord knows what's in that stuff that you could be ingesting. Just my thought (though I know how precious eggs are - my cat knocked over a basket of eggs and they all broke, I literally cried as the dog and I cleaned up the mess LOL)

What did you use to worm with? If you used the Wazine i would suggest using something different the second time.

I used the wazine. Only one of my pullets seemed to be infected. "Goldilox" was the only one I noticed loosing a little weight, and had runny poo. So we just treated the whole flock.

It's just depressing to throw that many eggs away.

I haven't checked the egg count today

5/6 today!! one layed in the pen but atleast i didnt have to go too far egg hunting. Our biggest to date is 2.3
