Any insight anyone? Just got my hens Thursday night. Friday I got 3 eggs (never saw anyone happier than I was Friday!)
Saturday 3 more. Yesterday? Zip. Today? zip.

They are indoors, warm enough, ample food and water, extended light (6am until 10 or 11pm), no feathers on the ground, no signs of molting... Red sex link (white rock/RIR) hatched in February, Laying since July... active happy eating well....

Am I doing something wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong!

The hens were just stressed post move. They had eggs 'on the move' the day or two before you relocated them. They naturally shut down and are in 'wait and see' mode as a response to the disruption of their lives. Give them plenty of protein (mine like refried beans and yogurt) and some time to calm down and they'll start back up again!

Thanks, was wondering if that was it... They were laying for the farmer I bought them from every day. They just seemed to settle in so fast I thought maybe I was home free (ah well) lol

Ok, lemme load them up on protein... I'll do a bean mash for them.

Do be sure to feed them COOKED beans. There's an enzyme in beans (tyrosin, I think?) that isn't good for chickens. Cooked for 15 minutes at 180 degrees or more and they'll be fine. Like I said, mine will practically run me over if they even THINK I have refried beans.

We had a young rooster disappear for 2 days and then show back up. We have no idea where he went, but he was fine when he showed back up. Good luck.
