day 5 of no eggs.
built better hidden nests today and I'm installing them tomorrow so they may like these better.
plus we are buying 2 laying hens tomorrow. so we should start having eggs by Monday. hopefully.

3 eggs today, but I guess I am going to add the younger pullets into my chicken count since I think one of them laid an egg yesterday,
so that makes it 3 eggs from 8 chickens.

On average I get about five to 6 eggs per day from my hens. There have been some slow days due to my dog scaring them or its been way too hot for them. My hearty producers have been my leghorns and orpingtons, and once in a while I will get eggs from my americauna.
