I got 12 eggs out of 12 chickens today. Successful day!!!

I was just wondering when my girls would get back to laying lots of eggs. Since winter I have only been getting 5 to 11 eggs a day. I have 17 girls. It's spring now and I keep waiting for them to get back to what they did last year which was their first year of laying. And then I got 15 to 17 eggs a day. Is this normal?

They are finished with their molting for the winter too.
