One egg again yesterday, someone keeps teasing and building nests in the boxes. Big egg yesterday, 66g! According to the size chart an xl egg.

In other news I used up the last 2 store bought eggs yesterday. My girls better keep producing!

One egg yesterday.
My two have been doing one or less each per wek lately.
Of course, they also replaced all their feathers too.
The one yesterday was 75-80 grams.
my scale is hard to read, need a real egg scale, not a cheap food scale like I have. I use a jar cap on it to hold the eggs....
I have not had any eggs less than 60 grams.

A couple months or so back, Goldie laid a massive super jumbo, that I figured had to be a double yolker.
It was odd shaped, weighed about 125 grams.
When I cracked it open, I have to fast remove a fetus. yes, it had one yolk and a fetus.
Not clear how she managed that, being as the roo was gone since sometime last year...

I kinda hope my two will start laying more eggs now...

Total surprise because her comb and wattles aren't even that big yet. Crazy, right?

10 today out of 10 chicks, 9 yesterday - My 3 leghorns never skip a day this week, tho they're so bully blocking others from using the nests.

6 Chicken egg's today and I was off struck as it was rather chilly all day in the low 90's with clear sky's and light breeze ....

I would be dying hot at 90 degrees!!! When I woke up this morning it was 40! It's getting chilly here for sure!!
