chicken: 14/27/30 duck: 2/3/3 I shoveled paths and an area for my chickens today....after shoveling, they finally ventured out of the coop. I walked down my 1/4 mile driveway to check the mail and snapped a picture halfway down:

Thanks, does anyone know what are the limits on ratings you can give?

Also anyone on here growing fodder, trying to get started and unsure how much I need to feed 25 chickens. Of course I have been reading and it seems it various, but seems between 2-5% of their body weight. Just trying to figure how much to get started is all. Gonna see how the gang likes since we are pretty much snow covered now and no greens in sight. :/

I had 4/5/12 Christmas Eve and then everybody took the day off for Christmas, which must have been a plan they got together on because since then it's been 5/7/12, then another 5/7/12, 6/7/12 yesterday and 6 already today with two of them being brand new layers. They must have started early on a New Year's resolution to give me more eggs!

Nice and how many girls are you feeding a day and how much fodder do you feed? Also how much do you start with? Sorry for all the questions, I have done a ton of reading and am indecisive right now about amounts. Thanks!
