Only 3 yesterday from 17 hens, & that includes the 1 that got smashed. My EE's haven't laid in a couple of weeks now.

24 weeks and still nothing


Sigh.
-7'F last night....wind chills of -30, doesn't bother them as they aren't IN the wind.

Me however......brrrrrr and I worry. Lol.

24 weeks without eggs isn't unusual in the midst of the shortest days of the year.
I've waited that long in mid summer.

oh i know. It's lime those last few torturous days when you are past your due date waiting for a baby!
