5/5 I thought I was going to get 4 but when I went to lock them up tonight then I saw another so someone laid late today. Then I forgot the egg was in my pocket of my sweatshirt and dropped it on the kitchen floor. Daaaaang it!

Cabbage and bok choi (a type of Chinese cabbage) are some of my girls FAVORITE foods.

Ours is cabbage and kale, they expect it everyday even in the winter, just not when it freezes instantly.

My girls purchased end of March 2014 as chicks. 4 of my 5 started laying at the end of summer. I was getting 4 eggs daily until one went brooding in the fall. Now it's winter and she had just started laying again this past week. This surprised me as I thought they slowed laying in the winter due to limited daylight. My QUESTION is this. One of the girls had never laid an egg. I was just wondering if this was normal to have a "dud" so to speak. I am a new chicken owner so don't know. I really don't care as I enjoy all of my girls but was just wondering.
