How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

JadedPhoenix it sounds like someone has been hiding eggs.... may have brought them out to make a clutch to sit on. I always stir the nesting liter a bit to check for buried eggs.

No, the extra eggs were in a nesting box that is never used and all were empty after collecting yesterday afternoon. Plus I use sand so no where to hide the eggs and just roll them up to where they were at. Like I said, I think that a few of them laid after I left work yesterday (5pm) since we've had warmer weather and longer days. Then those were added to the eggs for today.

Highest ever!

Heard a ruckus out in the yard. Rooster sounding the alarm, hens running for the gate to the run (except the couple up near the house, staying very still).
There was a hawk in the apple tree in the middle of the yard.

Guess I'll have to let them out a little later and keep an eye on them

I appreciate the colors of the eggs when I see them, I get white eggs only from my white leghorns but hopefully soon that will change but the other breeds are expensive here

Yes, I'll bet they are hard to get, no tractor supply Store in the P.I. Do they sell chicks at the sari sari stores?
