Ours haven't started laying yet. Have 11 R.I. Reds. They are at 10 weeks. Just finished their "big girl" house with roost and nest boxes. Can't wait for those fresh eggs.

Devil claws,These are my Rhode Island Reds. That's what I was told they are anyway. They are real nice little birds there about nine weeks old and they always stay together they do not go apart from each other, very rarely. These are the first that I have had somebody gave them to me so I was really lucky and I have heard that they are excellent layers. I can't wait to get some eggs from them also.

6/6/7 hey guys when will my momma hen start laying again? Her babies are around 6 weeks old now. Should I start looking for that 7th egg a day again?
