been getting 5 or 6 a day for the last 2 weeks from my 8 laying hens (2 young pullets not yet laying) today was 5....guess this is about the way it will be all summer

I have about 15 2-dozen containers. I'm going to need more . I figure at a worst case scenario, I don't know too many people who raise chickens but I know a lot who like to eat eggs--I'll trade eggs for a way to safely store other eggs. As my chicks have grown, I have found out that the answer to world currency problems may be to trade eggs. Eggs from backyard grown chickens seem to have more value than dollars in my social circles at this point.

Just saw your vital statistics at the bottom of your post. That's a lot of chickens, which means you're going to have a LOT of eggs. Start saving eggs cartons. You're going to need them!
