How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

What time are everyone's hens roughly laying during the day?!?!?

80% of my hens egg laying are done before noon. The rest trickle in till before 5pm.

My 3 white leghorns are very consistent in laying before 9-10 am. They are early to bed and early risers.

I have two hens that just started laying eggs and I have one roster.if the eggs were fertile wouldn't the hens set on them.all three are same age I was wondering if the roster wasn't doing his job

One egg out of 2 hens (only 1 is laying so far, the other isn't far behind since they're similar in age - 6 months)! She just started laying yesterday so we're ecstatic to find them!

Not necessarily. They'll sit on golf balls if they are broody, the egg doesn't have to be fertial. Mine try to go broody when they lay in a nest that has already been laid in by multiple birds that day. They shreek at you when out get near the box and puff up all their feathers and could peck the heck out of your hand when you try to take the eggs

Actually it's a leghorn... I know hard to believe. I have a rir that does the same thing.

What time do you let your hens out to the run/yard in the morning i leave by 7:30 every day is before that time ok?!?!?!
