How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

10/14. Seems to be the norm now. We shall see tomorrow. I completely cleaned the coop and nesting boxes today.

0 eggs from the free range chickens

Temp 84 F degrees

cloudy most of the day and started a very light rain after 4 PM

4 today, I don't expect more from my others yet. My cochins are still going back and forth with pink to red on their combs and my littles are only 17 1/2wks (EE) so I don't expect them to start laying for at least a few more weeks.

These girls really make me laugh though. The 4 that are laying have all decided that a single nesting bin is where they want to lay. So this morning I collected 1 egg, then this afternoon there were 3 still warm eggs in the same bin lol

Temp 87 F degrees with heave cloud formations to block out the sun and light winds

1 new addition from the incubator a little EE chick

3 eggs from 3 hens, but one laid in the middle of the lawn in the rain... First time that's happened so I'm hoping it's a one off?
