How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

3 eggs today :/ one thus far. It's 28 degrees and I have five hens and a roo. They just started laying last week and I have four eggs. I am not sure who is laying unfortunately




2 eggs from the control group




1 egg from the free range chickens





Temp 68 F degrees with high winds all day





I should be back Friday evening going to the family Thanks giving dinner in Northern California in Mendocino county and I can only imagine the coastal view will be some rough white capes with all the winds

2/15 for two days straight. Think the Speckled Sussex, older EES and Brahmas will be retired in the spring. I cannot decide between BA or Comets. Which is more gentle? I do not like butt heads or bully birds.

I really like the demeanor of my 2 BO's over my RSL's.
Bah, I misread that. My BA roo has a decent temperament.
