How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

When I went out this morning, one was in the corner on the floor of the coop. When I went out this afternoon, there were 2 in a box (first time ever having multiple eggs in a single box) and when I went out this evening, the hen who usually lays in a nest on the floor had laid in her spot. I don't know why she made a nest in the floor, and I assumed she decided to get with the program and it was hers in the box, but I guess not!

11/14 today so I guess they forgave me for cleaning the coop. Missmandyjo, I had 5 eggs in one nest today and usually do.

Mine are just beginning to lay. Hen #1 laid in the corner first, then tried different boxes till she found one she likes. Hen #2 lays in a nest she made on the floor. I've tried messing up her nest, she just remakes it. Hen #3 is a mystery. I found one dirty egg that looked like it had been rolled out of the coop, then the next day (yesterday), only 2 eggs, so I thought maybe #3 was actually an egg from #2 I hadn't seen prior. And today, I got 4 eggs! One of which is sharing hen #1s chosen box.

3 eggs from 2 hens yesterday! 2 out of 2 today. (silkies I might add)
