Is it bad that I'm outside every hour rooting the ladies on? I just found my 11th egg.

I got some super small eggs from my youngest 2 pullets when they first started. They were really cute

"Wind" eggs.

We had torrential winds and rain here for about three hours and 6 found a hole in the run to go out and forage.
with the wind howling we had a mad scramble as things tried to lift off the ground.
So with that I am at 7/14 and really do not expect any more today.

they are a mixed flock. The big red was a stray (backyard release) and the other 5 are free range mixed breed from a friend

We knew they were all possibly mixed but she wasn't the one I thought would end up an Easter egger. Bit since all 6 are laying here is a shot of all 6 eggs
