I'm sorry I wasn't clear. I'm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Davie is just west of us and has farms and plant nurseries.

Even a cardboard box folded on top with shavings or straw to get them home,
that way if you don't have a dog crate you don't need to go buy one.
the storage tubs they sell make make great pullet houses till you can move
them outside after they feather up. you will have about 4 to 6 weeks
before you will want them outside in coop. if you use one of the plastic tubs
be careful as heats lamps to close will melt them.

4 eggs from the control group

two of them will be going into the incubator

2 eggs from the free range chickens

Temp today 84Fdegres with clear sky's and very little wind

The chicks that hatched this morning I can not take a photo of because there are several eggs peeping at this moment

so hopefully there will be some great photos some very happy chicks tomorrow
