Your eggs are so pretty! My white and brown layers are active, but I have olive eggers, easter eggers, and cream legbars who are 20+ weeks old. I can't wait to add more colors to my basket.

I'm jealous you actually have grass!! Mine have destroyed it all. I keep saying I'll section off a part of the run yard and replant, let it grow and then do another section. But, so far I haven't gotten around to actually doing it!
The kids at school today were saying we are suppose to get down into the low 30's tonight. I think the high today was 59!
Oh, I almost forgot to add in my egg count. Lol! Only 5 again today. ! coop, still NO EGGS! 1 coop has increased eggs by 1, and the 3rd coop has decreased by 3 to 4 eggs a day.
That looks like a good idea!I have found these cute little raised "garden" boxes on Pinterest that I want to try to get more grass in my coop. This is the photo I found. It seems like a great way to get vegetation in the coop while protecting the roots enough to grow!
