Hubby said that we got 5 eggs today, but the dog ate one when he turned his back
More bad news for my Dad & his health. He had an echocardiogram today and was told that his heart valve has suffered a lot of damage.He has another test scheduled on the 28th so that the heart doctor can figure out what to do. My Dad is not a good candidate for surgery. Yesterday, after the imaging of his leg ( to see if the blood clot had moved) he was told that now not only does he have blood clots in the left leg, he now has several in the right leg as well.
They put him on a new blood thinner, hopefully this one won't give him bloody noses like the other one did. It's not looking real good for him at the moment. My Mom, however, keeps doing better.
As if that wasn't enough stress in my life, my oldest son (30 years old) just called and is feeling despondent & hopeless with his life ( he is an addict) and is thinking of killing himself. He is several hours away and basically on the streets. He had been in the area, but some friends told him he could come live with them. However, when he got down there he found out they were pretty much in the same situation as him. Plus someone stole his wallet and his x- girlfriend, who he was crazy about, but she wasn't as crazy about him, just told him she is 10 weeks pregnant. The hardest part is that I don't know what if any of it is true and what is/are the parts he thinks will get people to give him money. He claims to be clean, but I don't believe him. Sorry, didn't mean to bring anybody down, I just know this is a safe place I can get my thoughts off my mind.
It is good to see the doctors are finding out what is going on with your father good and bad and I hope your mother gets well soon for everyone's sake, I know I adored my father and was so lost when he passed at 86 years of age and it really hurt my boys also hard ..
Your boy I have really do not want to say much other than I remember all my children best when they were very young and I was so full of hope for each and everyone and the one boy Ben who is 17 yrs old right now is being asked right now what his plans are for College by the Department of Veterans Affairs is totally lost and he only has till May 10th to answer the letter as that is his B-Day and he will be 18 yrs old and I would hate to so see him toss his life away just because he cant make up his mind or really have the understanding of what life is really all about, and by the time he is 19 yrs old the V.A will be long finished with him really the day after he turns 18 yrs old and he is really to old to tell him what he needs to do or how to do or live his life ..
Funny how in life one day you have full control of them sweet little ones and then after many rears of life they have to go out and find out for them selves what life is really all about . So we do our best as parents but in the end it is really all about freewill .
