Thursday and I am staying at a steady 1 egg a day .

I have been getting 7 or 8 eggs a day from my 8 girls since they all began laying well at the end of November. This morning there were 3 shellless eggs on the poop board!! What could be going on??? It was our first extra cold night? I had two shellless from the same hen a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was from having a scare??- once from a sudden thunderstorm and the second time from a hawk. As you can tell, this is all new to me. I would love some ideas and help.

5/5 today. We got a couple of inches of snow. My girls are so spoiled. They stayed under the coop till I shoveled.

GOT 6 TODAY! In frigid cold temps! Moving on up! I know one of my sexlinks hasnt laid yet today ( im hearing the egg song as I type...lol). So that means 1 of my EE's has started laying and is not going to give me a blue or green egg . Although the last one (very light pink, not white) has a bluish undertone to it. Could it turn blue as she matures in egg laying? Well I have 3 more chances left! . 1 EE and RIR absolutely refuse to leave the coop

because of our first snow...and they are my biggest hens so far! Bahahaha. 6/10 so far
