How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I am absolutely positive. My coop is very small. Every day I get 6 eggs yesterday I get 8 so somewhere they have laid two extras some how. Beats me. Not saying they didn't lay them during the night, they could have but the fact remains there was 8 eggs. The day before was 6 eggs. Will see what I get today when I get back from the city. I have 5 eggs so far. I think maybe it will be 6 eggs today. I didn't run the light last night. Getting too many eggs.

. I run one of those weird bulbs that is cheap on wattage. They look like a dairy queen cone.

Yep got back from town and had the 6th egg.

The hens are usually consistant with 6/6 Maybe thur was just a fluke. Two of the hens will lay double yolks pretty much every day. On thur the eggs were small so that makes me think they didn't have the double yolks and instead had an extra egg. Maybe?

My hens are way to spoiled some days i get two, other days i get nothing. I live in southern california too in a desert like region and its been in the high 70's low eighties for a few days and nothing ! I gave them oats yesterday !

and of course no eggs today go figure ! these ladies have no idea how lucky they are to be in such a warm climate as california ! they better start all laying soon im ready to have the chicken soup talk.

We've been getting anywhere from 3-5 eggs a day from 13 hens...they're young (just 22 weeks) and I'm sure they're not all laying yet. I usually get one or two in the morning and then 2-3 throughout the rest of the day....HOWEVER, this morning I went out at 830am (about and hour earlier than usual) and found 4 eggs!! So If I get the usual 2-3 more today, we could have a new record!!! So excited.
