How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

extrememainer: "By Morans do you mean Cuckoo Morans?"

We have Black Copper Marans and Blue Copper Marans. The parents are stock that lay very dark chocolate eggs so I was hoping for something darker. If our tiny egg came from one of the Marans pullets, I'll be a little disappointed if that is the color and it stays that light. Still beautiful birds though, and we'll love 'em anyway. We have a Light Sussex hen that lays an all pink tinted egg so I am still supecting maybe one of the Light Sussex pullets laid this tiny speckled egg. We'll see. We are trying to get them in the act with the "chicken cam" in the coop. I just realized we have turned into chicken voyeurs! :)
