I got 5/5 yesterday for the first time! The last of the five started laying almost 2 weeks ago, but until yesterday, someone always had an "off" day (usually either the BA or GLW, whose eggs are hard to tell apart).

Got 11 out of 11, but I'm a bit confused, when cleaning the poop board, I found a shell less egg and a soft shell, how is that possible? Weird....
They will occasionally lay 2 in a 24 hour period. For whatever reason one is released too early (per the 'schedule') or late. Not unusual for one that is too close in time to another to have a funky shell.Got 11 out of 11, but I'm a bit confused, when cleaning the poop board, I found a shell less egg and a soft shell, how is that possible? Now you have to figure out who is laying the slightly darker and slightly lighter egg so you can track who is laying and how often (if you are a data driven geek like me).How cute and small and green!
11 ISA's and 1 elderly Bantam (no longer laying), that's all we need, my coop and run can conceivably handle twice that. We'll add some heritage breeds later down the road.hard to tell who had the soft egg but had both in her to get rid of be happ with the great numbers... Do you have just the 11 birds?
2 4 the price of 1! I don't get many double yolkers. Had a few Diddy ones though recently!
