How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

9/15 today. Not too bad considering the 2 faverolles and the Ancona haven't been laying and Zorra and Persephone are sporadic. All will be 6 years old in a month. Zorra laid today, Persephone (72 grams) yesterday.
Wow that is pretty impressive for that age girls - I'm impressed! Shows that favorite girls don't necessarily stop earning their keep.
16/17! I’m so close to getting all of them to lay in one day!
It will happen! :yesss:

2/3 but Mabel lays later. Another very odd one this morning, was the same as yesterdays odd one that I broke in my hand, and again was on the floor not in the nest. Just uploading pics from my phone and I'll add them of both odd sorts.

So this is the egg 'fault' that happens maybe once a week or so from one of my hens (not been doing proper records, need to really to keep an eye on things). I mentioned it last week @bruceha2000 and got another yesterday to get a pics. The egg is a much paler colour but mottled with darker patches. it is a little rough to the touch other than sometimes a smoother patch, to me it seems like the last 'shiny' layer isn't being put on the egg?? What do you think? I just thought about it and twice when it has been like this she has laid under a tree and not in the nestbox?

Yesterday as I mentioned I had a strange egg that broke when I tried to wipe it clean. It happened again today - both times on the floor of the coop not in the box. Kind of looks like a squashed cushion or something  with crinkled fabric! I haven't seen this before. Should I be worried?
Kind of normal if mis-shappened from the top:

Crinkles on the ends, one worse than the other:

And one side very odd and mis-shapened:

This happened to my RIR layer a few times on the first few months of laying, then it corrected out by itself. Not sure if I read right few years ago, sometimes if they hold the egg a little too long or they get spooked these could be the results.:sick

I wouldn't worry about the mostly dull egg, usually when I see one like that it was laid overnight from the roost. Maybe whatever it is landing in takes off the shine.

I've also gotten weird wrinkly eggs. Not real often and not as young as I think your girls are. But they usually self corrected on the next or subsequent egg. I can't find a picture of the "deflated balloon" egg I got like you showed but here is another odd one. The deflated balloon ones always seemed to have really thin shells.

I even got this once
