How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

That's eggciting! When were your girls born? I'm waiting on my Araucana to start - just worked it out and she is 21 weeks tomorrow - definite reddening of her comb the last 2 weeks am so eggcited for my first blue egg .

I have different ages. The EE was my youngest layer, at 20 weeks. The Australorp started laying at 24 weeks, the BO at 25, and my GLW at 27!
My RiR is 22 weeks, and the most recent layer. I have 3 SLW and I am expecting them to wait another month to start.

I fear I’ve got a while to wait! I’ve got 12 born June 21, and 6 born aug 21. No one looks even remotely ready to lay. But I’m enjoying watching their little antics!

I can't remember when my other 3 started to lay - I think the Lohmann and Harco (hybrids) were less than 20 weeks and my sussex a little over. I just can't wait for that blue egg

I have 19 birds, 5 are this year's "crop", 4 of those haven't started laying yet. 4 are 6 years old so not expecting a lot from them. That leaves 11 that could be laying regularly. Nope, it is fall, going into winter. Light is diminishing and they are quitting. Two are currently moulting, several already have and the rest are still to start.

I have 3 bc marans pullet not old enough so will not see eggs till spring I think 3 cuckoo marans may lay this year the br I picked up 4 are barnyard as they lay green and blue eggs but mostly daily
