They call you a cow! (kinda). Those rude French people. Did you learn some Spanish before you learned French? Seems the first "foreign" language we learn influences any others we try to learn.

I learned a little French before I went to France on business. We had French liaisons at the plant. I said to one of them "Je ne parle pas bien Français".
He said "Yes, but you don't do it very well".
I said "I know!"
He said "No, I mean you did very well saying that"

I got 5 so far today from 12 RIR pullets that are 23 weeks tomorrow. I am supplementing light and eagerly awaiting the rest to get going

No no Spanish! It is actually a french expression and no one has ever said it to me (to my face anyway!)- I say it to people (about myself!) if I make a mistake or something and they always crack up and impressed that I know their cheeky expression and generally tell me how good my French is as a result

I didn't realise you had had a stroke I'm sorry to hear that and very sad for you to loose your languages (I sure know how hard they are to learn in the first place!).

I am have been for 5 years now but get around hone quite well now the guys left the dolly in my path yes fell over it but got back up ... 2 eggs from silky 11 from main coop
