Mine have a light that is on during the day do not shut off till 9 pm
a few are down still mulling about still i shut that light off close the pop door then the front door

I HAVE some younger birds. 5 that came from Meyer as day olds in April. Only 2 are laying.

I have marans 2 pullets 1 cockerel do not think they will lay till spring close but not there yet

Zilt out of 30, mostly moulting, I don’t use light at all. Luckily I get 5-6 eggs from 6 new layers of May hatch.
