Are you adding light or are they this year's pullets?

2 today, 1 from Aria, 1 from Arcadia

Both I’ve always added light with any flock and these guys are this years new chicks (born the first of June)

Bad (?) news is that Hermione the warrier silkie has decided to go broody AGAIN! I am not sure if it is a good idea to hatch chicks now. We have pretty mild winters generally but can get nippy overnight. If I do let her brood will she be alright on her own in the broody coop (thinking heat wise)? Will our eggs actually be fertile (I read somewhere that they aren't in winter??)? Really not sure what to do.

stick 6 in should be good rosters do not take a brake I sit at 6 to 8 a day any given day white dog is not in there she is total bomb out where any piece of Pyrenees is missing in her dna brain

2 gorgeous clean eggs - Hermione being broody is keeping the others from sleeping on the edge of the current (temporary) nest box!
