14 Today possibly more since I have couple of late afternoon layers and I’m out having dinner w/ wife while we have a sitter for kids. Snow and lower temps ready to hit us the next few days.

One. One little egg.......from a giant cochin.....yeah I am sure that bantam sized egg came from that giant cochin. she always gives teeny eggs.

We are suppose to get some snow on Saturday. At first they were calling for 16 to 18 inches! But now they have backed off to 2 to 4 inches.

We are having light sprinkles where we are no snow at all

10 eggs today! It warmed up here to around 41 degrees and almost all of the snow has melted and now it is VERY MUDDY! But, the temperatures are supposed to really drop over the next day or 2, so everything should freeze back up!

Sunset today was around 4:30

Wow that is so early - I'm going to lock up on dusk at 5.55 (alarm moved from 5.35 around Christmas time).

Can you lovely people please tell me what 4H is???? I always see it mentioned and have asked a couple of times on other threads but no one has ever answered me!

Oh and I've really noticed this week with getting lots of coloured eggs - the Marans always have shavings stuck to them - I wonder if they come out a bit wet after thier last coat of spray paint. Anyone else notice this????
