Google can be your friend :D
Haha! I know I could have looked it up but sometimes it is nice to have a human answer!
Predicting 3 inches of snow, give or take.
I'm so jealous!!! Pictures when it arrives please!
@PouleChick that will be -18*C.
NO that is crazy cold :eek::eek:is that day temps or overnight? I'm guessing it won't get up much anyway. My US geograpghy is even worse than I thought :oops::oops:- I thought I'd go look where Ohio is - where I thought it was was about where Kansas is :oops: AND what on earth is Colorado doing there next to Kansas - I thought it was somewhere up north - possibly even on the border :lau:lau oops!

I for one am glad Colorado isn't up by the Canadian border.
Brrrrrrrrrrrr.

:lau:lau:lau:lau I hadnt' read your location! See I think what confused me is that I think of Colarado as being mountains and snow and stuff - so my brain put 2 and 2 together! And got 5 :lau:lau:lau:lau

It's actually an interesting landscape here. We have flat plains to the east and mountains to the west of us.
We are considered semi-arid for climate. It is generally very dry here year round except for spring rains.
In winter we can get -20° Fahrenheit and 108° in summer. Those are the extremes of course.

Mum went to Colarado springs last year for a confreence and I was really suprised when she showed me pictures of where she flew into (sorry can't rememeber what it was called) but yes I was shocked that it was so flat (although you could see the mountains in the distance!)

Brrrrr and stinking hot!!!! We get hot hot summers and can get up to the same but our winters are far milder than that.

If she didn't fly directly to Colorado Springs, she probably flew into Denver.

Your knowledge probably isn't much worse than millions of people who live here.

We normally have egg overloads in summer, we pickle them with red beets and consume them during slow time. We also freeze eggs in ice trays then put them in freezer bags for batch cooking.
I froze eggs in the fall of 2016 since I had no spring pullets. Mixed each egg slightly in a silicone muffin cup and froze. Once frozen I popped them out and stored them in a freezer bag.
Better than zero!
