I think my Barred Rock pair might lay an egg slightly darker than the White Rock pair but I wouldn't say there is all that much difference. One of the BRs does tend to "decorate" her eggs with darker spots but she's only 9 months old, things could change.

All my birds are over 2 with many over 4.
That and I seem to have every bloody Australorp on the planet.
I need to make a few decisions on who stays another year and who goes to camp.
The Brahma are decent birds for keeping order in my flock.....They stay. The sex links are both laying again even though they are 4 now.....I guess they stay. Looks like my Australorp are on the to go menu. I might sell them as they are the ones that are 2 years old and also super broody.
