How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Thus the difficulty with breeding them. Both having tufts would result in some of the offspring with 2 copies, some with one and some with none.
Thank you!
took the new six up there in my brooder box let the silky hear them a day see if they want to raise them as they have before
Did they?

They all passed in the night possibly being taken on the road trip short but the stress can kill them :he

@karenerwin how is you Mom getting along now

Thanks for asking. She seems to be doing real well! No where near the down time that she had when we got to Arizona. :idunnoShe didn't go down for breakfast the first morning back in St. Louis, but she made it down for lunch and dinner. She hasn't been complaining about terrible pain and she hasn't been sleeping her days away. So, I would say that she is back to normal.:D
I got 10 eggs today. No critters have entered the baited trap and we haven't had any more losses. :idunnoSo I am pretty sure it was a hawk of some sort that killed the hen and that the dog and I scared it away. Plus it looked like the work of a hawk because they pluck the feathers off and the rest of our predators just "dig right in" and start eating.

Just got back from picking up a dozen eggs to put in the incubator for the Easter hatch a long. :wee :celebrateHere's to hoping I get a good hatch rate!

Aww, Penny, that's awful! I'm so sorry to hear that you lost all 6 of them. :hit :hugs

Yes all of them decided to go to Auction here first of May get me some with feathers as I do not seem to so well with fluffy types just do not care for them in my house :he
