Up to 6 hoping a few more today only one in silky others are broody now again

I've had luck with the plastic "split rings". They only come in a few colors but since I have no more than 3 of any breed in my flock of 18 that is OK.

12 eggs again for me today.
The hen that I found dead in the yard yesterday appears to have a broken neck, but otherwise I don't see any other damage.
@bruceha2000 I tried the plastic split ring and had several chickens whose leg grew too big and the leg grew around the plastic ring (even though I bought the size recommended for that breed of bird). I thought a couple of them were going to lose a leg because of them. They did not, but it was not fun for me or them for me to dig out and cut off the plastic split ring.

5/5......4 of my adults moved to my daughters newly finished (mostly, lol) coop on Saturday so currently have just 5 laying hens (plus 13 8 week olds, 13 3 week olds and 2 5 day olds, lol)
