How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

I'm glad you all got a good laugh at my post.

Aww dang...not laughing AT you hopefully laughing WITH you.:hugs

Autocorrect has messed up to many of my posts to count.
It likes to change "broody" to " bloody" too. That makes for some really really odd replies. :hmm

I'm not upset, I never think to look and see if auto correct changed what I type. :)

I get that too with autocorrect- it’s right but then it changes the word after I move on. Weird. I’m over it.

9 total but 2 today were a loss. The obligatory Angel egg and a brown one with a good hard shell broken in the nest box. Don’t know what to make of that since there wasn’t any egg goop in the box. None. Not even a wet spot.

I’ve decided to switch over to layer pellets as the main feed and use the flock raiser for fermented feed. Since I have the compost bin set up now I think they get enough bug/biota protein. It’s the calcium that remains an issue. Hence going with layer pellets as the main feed. I did buy kale today which is supposed to be high in calcium. Hens were not impressed. But it’s new so they need a few days of trying it. I also picked up the sprouting seeds I ordered. Broccoli and mustard sprouts are also higher in calcium. I hope both the hens and me will like them! I also got radish seeds to sprout - I know hubby and I like them as we put radish leaves in our salads over the summer.
Fun stuff to try.
