How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

How do you feed the chickens chicken bones? I haven’t been doing it due to concern of the bones splitting or whatever is the reason people don’t give chicken bones to dogs.
They don't actually eat the bones. But if there is any meat stuck on the bones they pick it off. Later I go back and pick up the bones and throw them either into the compost pile or if I have a fire burning outside I'll toss them in there. If I leave them laying around in the chicken yard, my dog likes to sneak in there and grab the bones. She eats them, which I have always heard is super bad. So I try to take care of them before she has a chance to get them. But it is usually easier to just toss the whole pot of chicken scraps straight from the stock pot instead of trying to pick the bones out first.

3 eggs today, 1 was another blue!

I’ve gotten 3 blue eggs since she’s started, missed the day after the first egg. I had one kind of go broody I’m pretty sure, she hasn’t laid any eggs in the past 3 days :barnie I’ve only been getting 3/day the past few days since she’s started this. No more have started laying that I know of.. I should really go for a walk around the yard tomorrow :caf

12 today! I am really surprised because of how relatively few I’ve been getting lately. One leghorn egg was broken in the nest box. I think the shell didn’t hold up to the jostling.

My sprouting efforts are finally paying off. I’ve changed my approach a dozen times in the last few days but I think it’s getting better overall. I do have broccoli sprouts in the test bowl ready to harvest. They could go several more days to get to be more micro green level so I might only harvest half. The radish and mustards aren’t as far along but looking good.
