They don't actually eat the bones. But if there is any meat stuck on the bones they pick it off. Later I go back and pick up the bones and throw them either into the compost pile or if I have a fire burning outside I'll toss them in there. If I leave them laying around in the chicken yard, my dog likes to sneak in there and grab the bones. She eats them, which I have always heard is super bad. So I try to take care of them before she has a chance to get them. But it is usually easier to just toss the whole pot of chicken scraps straight from the stock pot instead of trying to pick the bones out first.How do you feed the chickens chicken bones?
