How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

Maybe I’ll try to give them chicken bones again. I did once but it looked like one of the hens was going to swollen it down whole and that freaked me out. Maybe just give them bigger bones instead of chicken wing bones. Hmmm. We used to eat a lot of roast chicken but not so much anymore. Wings are a nice take home treat.

I hate when that happens!!! Especially when production is low.

No that was deleted of one of our cats

That stinks. So aggravating.
Yesterday I was taking a carton of eggs out of the fridge and hit the lid which then hit the carton below and flipped it out onto the floor. Broke several eggs and made a big mess. Grr. I salvaged some and the girls got a scrambled egg treat. I hate those cartons. They’re cardboard which I like but they are taller than normal cartons so they don’t stack and fit the shelf space as well. Grr. I really need to just get rid of them. They were free out of the recycle bin at the local grocery store and that’s were they need to go back to!

Nothing so good it was more of a cat leaving the sink so video was of it's butt moving out of view

Nine, but I left one in a nest as I hadn't marked the first two yet and didn't want to get a started egg out.
It looks like our last EE is finally laying. Two nearly identical eggs and I know Thestrel lays a more pointed, greener egg. So Blackbeard is finally laying!

That skinny, white one is one of our Buttercups. They lay much less regularly than the EE and Welsummers.

I had three at silky one layed in the tractor then had one in main coop think another started back we will know next few days first two days of one then todays double I am sure
