kinda depressing but its really cold here so ya

I got 8 today, drop one and before I could pick it up it was gone. 3 of my girls attacked it then ran away, and it was gone

I keep forgetting to post in here when I’m going through my work week, it’s a good digital way to keep track of my numbers.. I also love to read about the different egg colours and numbers people are getting from their flock! I hope you all have a few good over-winter layers or at least some pullets to keep your egg quantities up this season

I filled an 18 egg carton these past few days, it seems I’m only just ramping into full gear with my pullets! Too bad they only want to go broody. Today I got a total of 4 eggs, 2 blue and 2 tan. The other day I got a total of 6 eggs, 2 blue (for the first time), 3 light tan and, 1 darker tan.

Hoping for that third Ameraucana to start up within this week as well. I’ve seen the two quietly observing the nest boxes and scouting out other potential spots in the coop but I can’t tell who is laying this other blue egg. Who ever it is, I’m hoping she isn’t too far behind the one that just started since they’ve already hit 7 1/2 months

4 in the main coop 3 brown one green twins are ticked they are EE 5 yrs old I let the 3 blue marans in the main coop and they dared to roost on their table also
